I wonder if any of those comedians who use my blogs as their monologues ever worked as hard as I did last night. They say they lived all my experiences, but they're just trying to be funny with another person's wit. As for me, it's been a while since I had to stack the old fifty-pounders. You may be calling me Quasimodo, I think. I feel the hump developing back there already. I'll be no good for anything but bell ringing while these assholes are prancing around on a stage, getting everything for my music and comedy. It won't be for a few years yet, though. Maybe they'll find a way to rig my wheelchair with forks, so I can keep working. And I wonder if any of them will brag about how they made all the money for my work and I didn't, like the way Taylor Swift did when they were still playing Ooga Balooga on the radio - right up to this year, I gather. That's the message the broadcasters seem to send out when they support stars like her or Ellen, that the people who steal my songs and blogs are far more important than I am. You'd think it would be illegal in a civilized country. And the broadcasters want to use their cameras to make you all love paint-by-number imitations of original works, and then to reject the original author because they're too ashamed to show his face to you. How do you like the way they want you to value my music when they commit fraud with it and reject it when I recover it? I've been hearing a lot of the kind of music that makes people yell 'turn it down' coming at me in the streets these days. I think you know the kind of obnoxious sounds I'd be referring to. But when I consider the above song, I strikes me as one that might get turned up if it isn't heard well enough. I think that its riff is also quite original. It extends over the whole verse, rather than just four beats of it. Makes it less repetitious, I think. | ||||||||||
