How many of you still believe I'm lying about these stars stealing my songs and going to jail for it? Why don't you believe me after twelve years of repeating the same story over and over on the internet? Is it because I don't have enough money? What does that have to do with it? Al Capone had lots of money. Maybe not having lots of it is a sign of honesty.
Money has contradicted every truth I have shared here about my life that I know I have lived, from East 8th Avenue (2006-2010) to the Hotel Europe (2011-12) and, finally, my current address from 2012 to the present. I know what I lived and wrote in all those years. And my writing springs from my life experience, which is why so many of my formerly erased statements, comedy sketches, poems, and songs ended up getting rewritten by me in the last twelve years since I first shared them. I know what I write and I know what I live. And just because some asshole has a big pile of money is no grounds to contradict me.
This is such a stupid, hopeless world. Money has got to be the worst invention in history. It doesn't make anyone happy, it just makes them rich. And it doesn't satisfy anyone's greed, it fuels it. (That's likely why Jesus hated it and damned the rich to hell.) People don't know how to be happy because they don't know what they want. They let themselves be fooled by commercials into believing that happiness comes from a shopping bag. But I never envied the money of these criminals on the TV and radio. I don't see what was ever so great about it if they had to steal my things and commit fraud to increase their profits after they were already rich. I don't need their stupid money. And I don't need their artificial image. I'm happy with being myself in my music and art and poetry: happier than all the stars in the world put together - even though I'm technically classified as suffering from acute depression. It's not so much that I'm a ray of sunshine, but that they are the most miserable people on earth.
I'm happy to be living a real life, however modest. I'm happy to know who my real friends are. Have you ever seen Citizen Kane? It's about the richest man in the world and how the only thing that made him happy was a cheap trinket from his lost childhood. So I don't regret my financial condition, however unjust it has turned out to be.
I occasionally ask how much money a star made from my work to show you their greed, especially in the case of stars who were already long established before I came along. I am interested in gaining answers to these queries. Do I have to pay a lawyer to examine the books? How much does that cost? Sounds like a worthwhile investment. I'll just save my money for the next ten years so I can make that happen. In the meantime, let's say they only made a dollar for each work stolen. So that would be 200 dollars for the songs, 1050 dollars for the comedy sketches, 200 dollars for the poems, 50 dollars for the cartoons, and perhaps another 1000 dollars for statements converted for use by standup routines. That's 2,500 dollars I never made from my work at a dollar per post. They made more than that on each post, I'm sure. Look and see how many I caught them stealing with my own eyes below. The same information should be reachable through my 'Statements' link at the bottom of my page (Copyright Issues.)
