11:40 am. I think Cobain knew about how you have to pay for your fame before your fame pays you. He knew how miserable it was to have to pay for being famous before he got signed. I guess it's a test to see if you can handle the life. But no one wants to pay for writing and sharing good songs. In my case, not only do they make me pay for my songs but they pay someone else in my place at the same time. It's quite a lot of pressure to put on me before I can make money from my songs. I wouldn't mind it if I was paid my royalties because I'd be so rich. Every time I heard an insult I could think of the money pouring into my bank account for it. As it is, it only reminds me of all the money they made from ripping me off and lying about me, and how they need to keep lying forever to sustain their public appearance at the expense of mine. Lawyers, this is all illegal, right? I hope so. At least we got the law right. Now if someone could just practice it, I'm sure there's a lot of money to be made - clean money.
10:28 am. Just a bit more drawing at home to get ahead of my schedule. I guess I better get back into my music. I have some new lyrics to write for new songs. I want to have some new ones in my next registration.
So, I avoid the bus because I don't like having to listen to strangers talking about me, but it still happens when I walk by them in the street. Like the other day, just as I passed this stranger talking to her friend, one said to the other, 'I prefer Kurt.' I think I might have been compared to Cobain there. That's too bad.
We're almost the same age, yes, but he would not be the same person anymore at age 53. He killed himself over something I probably know about better than any of his fans. I fear reincarnation too much to kill myself. I think there is precious little hope for talent in a world so misled by corrupt and greedy stars and broadcasters.
Did Nickleback sound like Nirvana with my songs? Did Blue Rodeo sound like Nirvana with my songs? Did the Rolling Stones sound like Nirvana with my songs? Oh, but I'm Nirvana. You should hear these new recordings I haven't shared. They're kind of jazz influenced. But you don't really prefer Kurt. You just prefer TV and radio and movies and all their hate because they have more channels than I do in my Blogger account and more colours than I have in my pencil set. But they look emptier without my decent songs and well written quips. Of course, I can remember ten years ago. It was when I started documenting in this account.
