Work is going well. I'm up to a full-time, Monday to Friday shift now. It's time to buckle down and try to save some money.
I was watching one of those new history documentaries last night - you know, the ones with the modern presentation. At first I hated it. They flashed up the old footage and backed it up with gansta style hip-hop. It seemed like a malicious distortion. You're supposed to keep the footage black-and-white. And the music should always be that deeply depressing German classical stuff. But I must admit that it was fun to watch with headphones. Just one thing. If you always pause for emphasis before you come to a key phrase in your narration and fill in the empty space with ominous thumps, it can get a little [thump-thump!] repetitive.
